Medical Plants Glossary: 





 

Family:

Taxonomic group composed of related genera. In turn, the families are grouped into orders.

Febrifuge:

Fever:

Elevation normal body temperature accompanied by increased pulse and breathing.

Fiber:

Dietary components that are not digested by the human body being driven by promoting fecal evacuation and thus the normal functioning of the intestine.

Fitoterapia:

The set of therapeutic treatments based directly on the use of substances of plant origin.

Flower:

Set of modified leaves located at the tip of a stalk. Its main parts are the stamen and pistil. Its main function is reproduction. Flowers can be male, female or hermaphrodite.

Fruit:
