ANTI-ANAEMIC

A substance that counteracts or prevents the lack of red blood cells. Refers to a substance used to treat or prevent anemia. In the treatment of aplastic anemia transfusion using blood components. The iron-deficiency anemia, which is the most common form, is usually treated with oral preparations of sulfate, iron fumarate or gluconate.
