ANTI-DIARRHEAL

A substance that counteracts or prevents diarrhea. Diarrhea is not a disease but a symptom of another more serious disorder. Its main feature is the frequent evacuation of watery stool, which leads to low absorption of fluids and nutrients and can be accompanied by pain, fever, nausea, vomiting, weakness or loss of appetite.
