SCABIES

The Scabies is a skin disease caused by the parasitic mite Sarcoptes scabiei, commonly called the sarnilla mite. Ectoparasitosis is a worldwide distribution in all races. It is a cosmopolitan disease, extremely contagious, seen especially in people who travel often. It reaches all segments of the population and is a very common dermatosis and easily treated.
